How to Pin and Share your Special Location on Google Maps
Follow these Instructions to share your special location.
Firstly – Open Google Maps
Second –
Use the search box to put you into the general area.
or simple drag the map around with the mouse
Do this by holding down the Left mouse button and moving the map
or simple drag the map around with your finger
Third –
Use the + button to zoom in
You may need to Drag the map around to locate your Marriage Proposal Location
Do this by holding down the Left mouse button and moving the map
If your exact location appears for you
For example Kirra Hill Lookout
Simply Click on it and the Pin will Drop
Simply Tap on it and the Pin will Drop
Most of the time your special wedding proposal location will not appear.
This is not surprising as your marriage proposal location will be unique to you.
Place your mouse pointer on your exact location that you intend to propose to your love.
Right Click to make the Menu appear.
Then – Select – Directions from Here – by clicking on it from the menu.
You notice that a circle has appeared which Google has named Marine Parade
You will also notice that I switched to satellite view
I did this by clicking on the small square in the Bottom Left of the map. Which now says Map. If clicked on would indeed take us back to the map.
Do not worry if the circle is not exactly correct
Last step –
You can zoom in further (if required)- using the + button
Put your mouse over the exact location where you will be
In this example you can show the very rock where you will be.
When you are happy Click the Left Mouse Button
which will drop your pin
If it is incorrect – don’t panic just click the back Arrow on your browser once and try again
Most of the time your special wedding proposal location will not appear.
This is not surprising as your marriage proposal location will be unique to you.
Simply press and hold your exact Location until the Pin Drops
Sending your special location to us
Firstly
Click on the Menu Icon – circled in yellow here for you
Click On the menu item Share or embed map
Tap On the menu item Share or embed map
Lastly
Click on Copy Link – circled in yellow for you.
Tap on Copy Link – circled in yellow for you.
You have successfully highlighted and shared your exact unique marriage proposal location.
All that remains is to Paste this Link into an Email or our online Order Form
